Charles Edward Donald, 73, of Laurel, passed away on June 8, 2016 at his home.
Visitation will be held from 8:45 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. Friday, June 10, 2016, at Memory Chapel with followed by a graveside service at 10:00 a.m. at Mill Creek Cemetery in Jones County. Rev. Jimmy Holder will officiate.
Charles was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and brother. He retired from Amerada Hess and Plains All American Pipeline on January 8, 2007.
Charles was preceded in death by his mother, Catherine Parker; father, John Henry Donald; two brothers, Newt Donald (Louise) and Joe Donald (Brenda) and one sister, Daisy Holifield (Ed).
He is survived by his wife, Sally Stevens Donald; four children, Charlie Donald, Dwayne Donald, Cindy Cochran, and Thomas Meadows; four grandchildren, Heather Cochran, Tyler Spratlin, Shannon Meadows, and Ryan Meadows; two great granddaughters, Jordyn Cooley and Kaydence Pearson; three sisters, Faye Holifield (Bill), Mickey Sims, and Betty Butts; and three brothers, Willard Donald (Thelma), John E. Donald (Joyce), and Danny Ray Donald (Linda).
Serving as pallbearers will be Dwayne Donald, Charlie Donald, Tyler Spratlin, Jason Pearson, Dion Sumrall, Ray Spratlin, and Michael Hurtt.
