Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, February 7, 1996, at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Mishicot. Rev. John Neuser will officiate at the Mass of Christian Burial. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
Tena was born June 1, 1905, at Stangelville, daughter of the late Matt and Mary Konop Pribyl. She married Lee Kadow on September 7, 1928, at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Manitowoc. He preceded her in death on April 3, 1991. Tena and her husband owned and operated the Kadow Meat Market for many years. She was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church, the Altar Society, and the Catholic Knights. Tena was instrumental in forming the Senior Citizens in Mishicot. She also received a commendation for community service from the Lions Club. Her hobbies were gardening, her flowers and sewing.
Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Mary Ann and James St. Pierre, Appleton; one granddaughter, Mary Beth (Tom) Meyer, Green Bay; two grandson, Brent and Matthew Meyer, Green Bay; one sister, Carrie Schmidt, Milwaukee; two sisters-in-law, Coletta Pribyl, Madison, Dora Kadow, Manitowoc. Nieces and nephews also survive. She was also preceded in death by four brothers, George, John, Joe and Jacob Pribyl; four sisters, Barbara Maguire, Anna Underwood, Emily Thersall, Mary Schleis.
Friends may call at the church on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the time of service.
A memorial fund has been established for research in Alzheimers or heart disease.
Until we meet again--Mom, you are finally home.
