Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday, June 13, 2016 in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory in Enterprise with Rev. Mike Selby officiating. Burial will follow in Meadowlawn Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory of Enterprise directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday beginning at 10:00 and continuing until service time.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Hillcrest Baptist Church Building Fund, 500 Alberta Street, Enterprise, AL 36330.
Mrs. Bragg was born January 11, 1930 in Daleville. She lived in Enterprise for over 50 years and worked at Fort Rucker for over 20 years. She was a charter member of Hillcrest Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert Sidney and Gypsie Mixon Benson and her husband, James Owen Bragg.
Survivors include two daughters: Linda Bragg Selby (Mike) of Robertsdale and Sharon Bragg Beiswenger of Birmingham; a son, James Owen Bragg Jr. (Julie) of Bowling Green, KY; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild; other nieces and nephews.
