Lisa Brown French, 48, of Richmond, Ky., passed away Friday, November 22, 2013, after a long battle with cancer. She was born in Auburn, Ala., on March 8, 1965, to Dr. Perry and Linda Brown. Lisa graduated from George Rogers Clark High School, served in the Air Force and was a veteran of the Desert Storm war. In addition to her parents, she is survived by, a sister, Georgia Brown Hale; a brother, Russell P. (Lora) Brown; two nieces, Elizabeth and Olivia Brown; a nephew, Reece Hale; and two best friends, Whitney Lakes and Claire Brown. She was preceded in death by a brother, Ross Brown. A Celebration of Life service will be conducted 6 p.m. Tuesday, November 26, at Scobee Funeral Home by Pastor Francis Nash. Burial will be private. Lisa’s wonderful spirit, joy and talents will be celebrated from 3 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, November 26, at Scobee Funeral Home.
