COOLEEMEE – Mrs. April Lynn Foster Jordan, 47, of Grove Street, died Thursday, June 2, 2016, at her home.
She was born April 28, 1969, in Guilford County, to the late James Wycliff and Ruby Louise Baldwin Foster. April was a member of Woodleaf Baptist Church where she served as nursery director. She was loved by everyone who knew her. April had worked at Sunshine House in Greensboro as a Childcare Director.
Survivors include her husband, Ronald Wayne Jordan of the home; her in-laws, David and Linda Jordan of Cooleemee; three siblings, E.J. Riley, James Foster, both of Greensboro and Brenda Stewart of Burlington; special niece and nephew, Crystal Faulkner of Winston-Salem and Justin Riley of Greensboro; and several other nieces and nephews; a great-niece, Peyton Jean Riley; and a great-nephew, Hunter James Riley.
A memorial service will be conducted at 2 p.m., Friday, June 10, at Woodleaf Baptist Church, with Rev. Chris Williams officiating. The family will receive friends at the church immediately following the service.
