Marriage - Huss & Spitzelberger

Notes from Mishicot:
Tuesday morning at the Catholic Church, Miss Mary Spitzelberger and Charles Huss were united in marriage, Rev. Belle officiating. The bride wore a white crepe du chien dress and carried a shower bouquet of bridal roses. Her veil was caught up with small buds. Miss Anna Spitzelberger, sister of the bride acted as maid of honor and Frank Jackabouskie of Milwaukee, as best man. The other attending couple was Ed Palzer and Anna Heine of Milwaukee.
The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Spitzelberger of Manitowoc and has made a large circle of friends during her short stay here. The groom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Bedbour. Mr. and Mrs. Huss will make their home on a farm near Mishicot.

Mrs. Mary Huss, 76, of Rt. 1, Two Rivers, died unexpectedly Thursday
morning at her home.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Lambert Funeral Home,
Mishicot, and at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Cross Catholic Church. The Rev.
Anthony Betley will officiate and burial will be in the parish
cemetery.
Mrs. Huss was born March 29, 1891, at Milwaukee. She was married to
Charles Huss Aug. 3, 1914, at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Mishicot.
He preceded her in death in 1954. The couple operated at farm at Rt. 1,
Two Rivers, now being run by its children. She was a member of the Altar
Society of Holy Cross Church.
Survivors include six daughters, Mrs. Norbert (Mamie) Funk, Mrs. Joseph
(Josephine) Hruska, Miss Betty Huss, all of Rt. 1, Two Rivers, Mrs.
Delmar (Agnes) Frank, Mrs. Harold (Doris) Glesner, both of Two Rivers,
and Mrs. Nell (Frances) Strouf of Ohio; three sons, Hilbert, Carl and
Richard, all of Rt. 1, Two Rivers; 20 grandchildren and six great-
grandchildren.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m Friday where the Altar
Society Rosary will be recited at 7:30 and the parish Rosary at 8.
