Marriage - Huss & Spitzelberger

Notes from Mishicot:
Tuesday morning at the Catholic Church, Miss Mary Spitzelberger and Charles Huss were united in marriage, Rev. Belle officiating. The bride wore a white crepe du chien dress and carried a shower bouquet of bridal roses. Her veil was caught up with small buds. Miss Anna Spitzelberger, sister of the bride acted as maid of honor and Frank Jackabouskie of Milwaukee, as best man. The other attending couple was Ed Palzer and Anna Heine of Milwaukee.
The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Spitzelberger of Manitowoc and has made a large circle of friends during her short stay here. The groom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Bedbour. Mr. and Mrs. Huss will make their home on a farm near Mishicot.

Charles Huss, 79, a lifelong Town of Mishicot farmer, died at his
home at 11:45 p.m. Wednesday. He had been in failing health the
past two years.
Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at the Specht
Funeral Home, Mishicot, and at 10 a.m. at Holy Cross Catholic Church,
Mishicot, the Rev. George Beth officiating. Burial will be in Holy
Cross Cemetery, Mishicot.
Charles Huss was born in Saxonburg, Town of Mishicot on Nov. 22, 1874,
a son of the late Erhardt and Anna Duerschmidt Huss. In 1915, he
married the former Mary Spitzberger.
Besides his wife, he leaves six daughters, Mrs. Norbert Funk, Mrs.
Joseph Hruska, and Mrs. Delmar Frank of Two Rivers, and the Misses
Betty, Doris and Frances Huss at home; three sons, Hilbert, Carl and
Richard Huss at home; a sister, Mrs. Henry Funk of Two Rivers; and
10 grandchildren.
For many years, Mr. Huss was affiliated with the Holy Name Society
of Holy Cross Church.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 9 a.m. Friday. The rosary
will be recited at the funeral home at 8 p.m Friday.
