"A. L. Snider, a laborer living at Dawn, died at his home Thursday night at 10 o'clock of a complication of ailments. He was taken sick a week ago last Thursday. He is survived by his wife and a daughter, 8 years old.
The funeral will be held Saturday morning at 10 o'clock from the Presbyterian church. Dr. J.F. Fetterholf of this city will conduct the funeral services. Burial will be made in the Monroe Center Cemetery.
The deceased was a member of the Odd Fellows and Woodmen lodges. Those orders will have charge of the services at the cemetery." The Chillicothe Constitution, June 11, 1909
