Born December 16, 1955 in Lexington, Kentucky she was the daughter of the late Albert and Rosetta (Voll) Murdock.
Louise was the Office Manager at B&L Sheet Metal and Roofing for 21 years.
She was a veteran of the United States Army and a member of Clear Creek Christian Church.
Louise was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister and aunt who was an avid NASCAR fan and she enjoyed watching IU basketball and Colts football.
Survivors include her husband of 7 years, Ellis “Worm” George of Nashville, two daughters, Jill George of Ellettsville and Jenny Sain (Doug) of Seal Rock, Oregon, two granddaughters, Ellie Sain and Jasmine Meurer, one brother, Robert Murdock (Barbara), brother-in-law, Larry George and sisters-in-law, Linda Lysher, Wanda Giles, Brenda Stewart (Ron), Carol Ellett and Connie Freeman (Gerald), and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 4-8pm Thursday, June 9, 2016 at The Funeral Chapel of Powell and Deckard, 3000 E. Third St. in Bloomington.
Funeral services will be 10:30am Friday at The Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow at Clear Creek Cemetery where the Monroe County Veteran's Honor Guard will perform military rites.
