Also surviving are two sons; Jeff Calvert (Rebecca, Austin & Ashley Audo) of Oakwood and Joe Calvert of Rossville; three grandchildren; Corey (Kristin) Calvert, Jessie Calvert and Jessica (Jasmine) Alcorn; one great-grandson; Teigen Calvert; two brothers; Mack (Beverly) Calvert of Oakwood and Gene (Erlene) Calvert of Paris; one sister; Ann (Cleo) King of Oakwood; brother-in-law; Dick (Cheryl) Musson; sister-in-laws; Debbie Wells, Marcia Hutson and Teresa Frahm and one grand dog who will miss him dearly, Zippy.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and father in-law Ray Musson and mother-in-law, Martha Frahm
Paul graduated from Oakwood High School in 1960. He helped his dad on the farm. He worked at the Grab-It-Here Bakery. He then worked at Esco for several years before it’s closing, Vermilion County Animal Shelter and Vermilion County Nursing Home.
His pride and joys were all of his grandchildren.
Paul liked to sit in the yard when he was able and feed the squirrels. He enjoyed going out to eat and to get his favorite ice cream at Mike’s Chill.
He loved Judy so much and she loved him just as much. We the brothers and sister of Paul, all love you Judy, and thank you so much for the excellent care you gave him and for standing by him.
A Celebration of Paul’s life will be held at 2 pm on Saturday June 11, 2016 The Vineyard Church of Danville, IL, 3733 Poolside Dr. Officiating will be Pastor Bill Connell. Burial will be in the Newtown Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 11am till 2pm at the Vineyard Church.
