Frank J. Havel, age 75, of 422 S. Main St., Mishicot, died Tuesday, November 5, 1996, at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center, Manitowoc.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, November 8, 1996, at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Mishicot. Rev. John Neuser will officiate with burial in Holy Cross Catholic Church Cemetery.
He was born August 18, 1921, in the town of Lincoln, Kewaunee County, son of the late Frank and Mary (Strnad) Havel. Mr. Havel was employed by the Hamachek Machine Company of Kewaunee for many years. He married Ruby Halada March 31, 1984, in Manitowoc.
Survivors include his wife, Ruby; one son and daughter-in-law, Frank and Chissy Havel, Delta Junction, Alaska; two daughters and sons-in-law, Lynn and Adrian Monfils, Luxemburg, Susie and John Woodworth, Oconto; one sister and brother-in-law, Sylvia (Toots) and Elroy Bitzan, Casco; his step-children include, Jim and Shirley Halada, Manitowoc, Jerry and Cindy Halada, Holman, Cris and Jim O'Connell, Wauwatosa, Tony and Lisa Halada, Mishicot, Margaret and Steve Ricard, Shorewood, Larry and Debi Halada, Wauwatosa; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, and many other relatives and special friends.
Friends may call at the Lambert Funeral Home, Mishicot, from 4-8 p.m. Thursday and in the morning on Friday before leaving for the funeral service. There will be a parish wake service at 7 p.m. Thursday evening at the funeral home.
"Frank was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend, and will be greatly missed by all. We love you Frank."
