She was born to Coleman and Minnie Jones. She married Kenneth H. Walthall October 11, 1939. She was a very loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She loved to cook for her family, fish and care for her pecan trees. She belonged to the Church of Christ.
Mable was preceded in death by her parents, husband, siblings, Herman, AP, and Floyd Jones, Leona Fort, Lavonia Bennett, Beatrice Burns, Dorothy Seward and Edith Magee.
She is survived by sons Hershell Walthall (Doris) of Montalba, Ronny Walthall (Florence) of Spring and Jerry Walthall of Streetman.
She is also survived by nine grandchildren, Preston, Gregg and Keith Walthall, Shelly Runyan, Amber Farmer, M(Palestine Herald Press 6/07/2016)
