Anna F. Hardesty, 81, of Carrollton, Ky., died Sunday, Jan. 13, 2008, at her home.

She was born Oct. 3, 1926, the daughter of Henry and Gertrude Murphy. She had been an employee of Teledyne Manufacturing for 35 years.

She is survived by her husband, James Hardesty; two daughters, Nancy Garriott of Madison and Barbara Hewitt of Seymour.; two stepchildren, Candice Gibson of Sanders, Ky. and Richard Hardesty of Wheatley, Ky.; two brothers; a half sister; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Hillis Murphy.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Graham-Dunn Funeral Home in Carrollton, Ky. Burial will be in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Carrollton.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the First Baptist Church of Carrollton.

Anna F. Hardesty, 81, of Carrollton, died Sunday at her residence.

She was a retired employee from Teledyne Manufacturing.

Survivors include her husband, James Hardesty; daughters, Nancy Garriott of Madison, Ind., and Barbara Hewitt of Seymour, Ind.; a stepson, Richard Hardesty of Wheatley; a stepdaughter, Candice Gibson of Sanders; two brothers, one stepsister, three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Graham-Dunn Funeral Home, Carrollton. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Burial will be in Carollton I.O.O.F. Cemetery.

Memorials are suggested to the First Baptist Church of Carrollton, 401 Highland Ave., Carrollton, Ky. 41008.

Services were held Tuesday, Jan. 15, at Graham-Dunn Funeral Home, 215 Fifth St., Carrollton, with the Rev. Chris White officiating. Burial was in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Carrollton.

Mrs. Hardesty was born Oct. 3, 1926, to the late Henry and Gertrude Murphy.

She was an employee of Teledyne Manufacturing for 35 years.
