Livingston, Manor, NY

Linda Hare, of Livingston Manor, entered into eternal life on Sunday, June 5, 2016 with her loving family by her side. She was 75.

She was the daughter of the late Benjamin Nicolosi and Grace Smith, born on September 23, 1940 in Engelwood, NJ.

Linda was formerly of Old Tappan, NJ, and a longtime resident of Livingston Manor. She worked for many years as an administrative secretary and was also a journalist for local newspapers and a librarian. Linda had a passion for all the good and simple things in life, she enjoyed reading, doing crossword puzzles, gardening, zydeco music, water color painting and tagging along on trips with Joe showing their antique cars. She was known to many as “Grammy” and had a great sense of humor and quick wit. She was also a member of the Sullivan-St.Tammany #298 Order of the Eastern Star. But above all she was devoted to her family and friends, she was loved by all. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend to all; she will be sorely and deeply missed.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 53 years, Joseph C.
