Mrs. Moore was born September 17, 1949 in Guilford County, a daughter to Roger N. and Anna Mae Gillis McClay.
She was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Thomasville. On August 12, 1967 she married James “Jim” Moore who survives of the residence. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Kevan McClay.
Also surviving is a daughter, Kathryn Brock and husband Chris of Wilmington; two sons, Todd Moore and wife Lisa of Appleton, Wisconsin and Neil Moore and wife Katie of Raleigh; two sisters, Marilyn Whisnant and husband Joe of Greensboro and Verna Ballenger of Archdale.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday at First Presbyterian Church in Thomasville with Rev. Jennie Hemrick officiating. Interment will follow at Floral Garden Park Cemetery. (Edited by Jeff Lovelace.)
