Keith was born October 29, 1943 in Buhl, Idaho to James Hallie and Hazel Conklin. He attended elementary and high school in Hagerman, Idaho. He grew up on a small farm and joined the US Coast Guard upon graduation. He was stationed with the Coast Guard in Brookings, OR when he met Lila Hester in 1966. They were married in 1967 and had two children, a son and a daughter.
Keith separated from the military after 10 years and went to barber school in Boise, Idaho and had a barbershop in Buhl before deciding to re enlist in the Coast Guard in 1978. He retirerd from the Coast Gurard in 1991 and moved to Grangeville, Idaho and opened Mr. C’s Tonsorial Parlor, he retired again in 2011 due to his health becoming a problem.
Keith loved what he did in life and loved people. He lived his life with no regrets.
