LeRoy Glass, 71, of West Fargo, ND, died peacefully, under Hospice Care, shortly after 7:20p.m. on Saturday, June 4, 2016, in the arms of his wife of nearly 50 years in their West Fargo home.
LeRoy was born September 26th, 1944 on a farm outside of Linton, ND to Frank and Elizabeth (Mosset) Glass. After his marriage to Linda Kraft in 1966, the newly-weds settled in Fargo where he worked at servicing appliances at Nodak Supply. They then moved to Mapleton, ND and he worked at Cass Clay Creamery for several years. The couple moved to Bismarck where LeRoy attended Bismarck Junior College and gained his degree in air conditioning and refrigeration. They moved to Strasburg where he ran his own business, Glass Heating & Refrigeration. In the fall of 1985, they moved back to Fargo and he did maintenance for the Select Inn Hotel for several years. For the 24 years prior to his retirement in 2011, LeRoy and Linda were apartment managers at France Apartments in Fargo.
He was a model of human kindness and compassion. LeRoy lived his life as an example of how to treat people and animals. He never lost his boyish playfulness and was always everyone's favorite: uncle, neighbor and friend.
His wife Linda, daughters Lorna (Don) Benner, Lanae (Glen) Cajobe, Lenore (Brian) Prisinzano, seven grandchildren, his brother Benny (Veronica) Glass and sister Sandra Glass, as well as many extended family members are deeply saddened by the loss of this great man.
LeRoy is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Jimmy Glass.
