Jan Elizabeth Mangum Griffin passed away on June 5, 2016, in Jackson. She was born on June 17, 1958, to the late Robert W. Mangum and Dorothy Adelia (Loveless) Mangum.

Mrs. Griffin was a retired nurse with a career in home health care.

Mrs. Griffin is survived by her loving husband, Walter Griffin; one son, Allen Griffin (Lindsay); one daughter, Dana Griffin (David); two brothers, Robert Mangum (Carolyn), Van Mangum (Amanda); one sister, Joy Mangum Sanders (Stanley); four grandchildren.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Dane Griffin.

Visitation for friends and family will be Tuesday, June 7, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Tutor Funeral Home in Mendenhall, MS. Services are scheduled for Wednesday, June 8, at 10:00 a.m. at the Tutor Funeral Home Chapel in Mendenhall with interment following in Mendenhall City Cemetery. Rev. Ted Bowlin will officiate.
