Donald R. Edwards was born October 29, 1941 at Rocky Mountain in Stilwell, Oklahoma. He worked for 38 years in Heating and Air in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. He loved to fish and hunt. Don and his wife Mildred lived at Rocky Mountain for 47 years before moving to Spiro, Oklahoma in July of 2020.

Don was preceded in death by his parents, Margie and Walton Edwards; cousins, Perry Latta, Norma Smith, Harold Brannon, and many more.

He leaves behind his wife, of 58 years, Mildred Edwards; sons, Walton Ray Edwards, and Raymond Scott Edwards and his wife Jessie. Ray lives in Spiro and is a teacher at Spiro High School and Scott Edwards is in the Heating and Air business in Broken Arrow and Tulsa areas. Don is also survived by his brother, Jim Edwards and his wife Shirley of Goodyear, Arizona.

He will be laid to rest in Caney Cemetery in Stilwell, Oklahoma with his parents and other family members at a later date.

He will be missed by all, God bless him.

Cremation is under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home in Spiro, Oklahoma.
