Funeral services for Joseph Guex, 69, former town of Gibson resident
who died Monday in Chicago, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at
Holy Cross Catholic Church in Mishicot with the Rev. George Beth
officiating. The body was brought to Mishicot from Chicago and friends
may call at the Specht Funeral Home this evening. The rosary will be
recited at 8 p.m.
Mr. Guex came to this country from Switzerland with his parents, Mr.
and Mrs. Louis Guex, Sr., when he was ten years old, and settled with
the family on a town of Gibson farm. He had been a resident of Chicago
for the last 45 years. His wife, the former Nettie Cushman, died last
year. Mr. Guex was a steamfitter.
Survivors include three brothers, Ernest and Edward, both of Mishicot,
and Louis of Rt. 1, Two Rivers; and one sister, Mrs. Ben Eisenman of
Maribel.
