Mrs. Fields was the daughter of the late Herman and Aurelia Stella (Harris) Foster. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Franklin D. Fields.
Mrs. Fields, along with her late husband, owned and operated the Eversharp Machine Shop.
She is survived by her sons and daughter-in-law, Lee Fields, Nealson and Elicenia Fields both of Dalton; sister, Phyllis Fields of Dalton; brother, William (Bill) Foster of Springfield, Ohio.
Grandchildren, Jason Fields, Holli Fields, Virginia (Jenny) Fields, Patricia (Trish) Fields, Luke Fields and Andres Fields.
Several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday from the Chapel of Ponders Funeral Home with the Rev. Mike Mahoney officiating.
Pallbearers were Jason Fields, Jerry Ray, David White, Johnny Foster, Seth Jackson and Shane Jackson.
