Gerald Perry "Jerry" Griffith, 63, passed away May 27, 2016, at home. He was born Jan. 27, 1953, in Twin Falls, Idaho. He was a Las Vegas resident for over 50 years, with a brief residency in Cascade, Iowa.

Jerry enjoyed watching his grandchildren play sports and spending time with his wife and children. He loved singing, dining at Lou's Diner and watching his beloved Denver Broncos. He was a devoted husband, father, and "Papa" who brought joy and laughter to everyone he met.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, W. Elmer and Katheryn Griffith; his sister, Barbara Lynn Griffith; and two grandsons, Ethen and Evan Amico.

He is survived by his wife, of 40 years, Marty Griffith; his children, Rick (Tracy) Griffith, Shannon Vermillion, Rory Griffith and Tiffany (Jeff) Amico; and 11 grandchildren.

Services will be Monday, June 6, at Palm Mortuary. Burial following at Palm Memorial Park-Northwest.
