Roy N. Bayes Sr., 68, of Glencoe, died Thursday at his residence. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War and a member of the Good Guys Club and the American Legion Post No. 277, Walton. A son, Johnny Bayes, died in 1977.

Survivors include his wife, Frances Bayes; daughters, Debbie Mullikin of Owenton and Lynn Vanoy of Warsaw; sons, Roy N. Bayes Jr. of Keizer, Ore., and James Edward Bayes of Carrollton; a sister, Irene Arnette of Dayton, Ohio; a half-sister, Thelma Fitzgerald of Dayton, Ohio; 10 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Carlton-Lowder Funeral Home, Warsaw, with visitation from 5 to 9 tonight. Burial will be in Napoleon Cemetery, Gallatin County. Memorials are suggested to the Gallatin County Life Squad, P.O. Box 377, Warsaw, Ky. 41095; or the American Cancer Society, 7730 U. S. 42, Suite C6, Florence, Ky. 41042.
