Joe was an avid car enthusiast, owning hundreds of automobiles over the last 50 years. He was a member of the Searcy Corvette Club for over 30 years, serving in all the officer positions.
Joe was also an active member of the Jaycees during the 1970's,
He was a devoted employee of B & B Oil for 34 years and considered them as family.
Camping and motorcycle riding had become some of his latest interests.
Joe loved spoiling his nieces and nephews at Christmas and really enjoyed giving more than receiving.
He is survived by three brothers, Van Stevens Jr., Lynn Stevens, and James Stevens; a sister, Ann Holland; three nieces, Valerie Hunt, Amy Thomas, and Ashton Holland; nephews David Stevens and Austin Holland; four great nieces and nephews, Wade Jones, Taryn and Ethan Hunt and Jobe Thomas. He is preceded in death by his parents, Van Stevens, Sr. and Joe Della Stevens
