She was born August 6, 1935, in Davie County to the late Frank Miller and Minnie Marie Corriher Sain. Annie was a member Green Pastures Baptist Church and loved attending when her health aloud her. She also loved doing puzzles, getting phone calls and having visitors over at her home.
In addition to her parents, Annie is preceded in death by her husband: Joe Shelton, one son: Jeffrey D. Shelton, one granddaughter: Cheyenne Shelton and two brothers: Robert I. Sain and George A. Sain.
A 2:00pm graveside service will be held Saturday, June 4, 2016 at Gardens of Memory with Rev. Jesse Butcher officiating.
The family will receive friends from 6-8pm Friday, June 3, 2016 at Burroughs Funeral Home and other times at the home of her daughter.
