slipped the bonds of earth to join his heavenly family on May 23rd, 2016. Clyde was born in Saginaw, Michigan to Cecil and Laurel Gray during the Great Depression in 1932. He enlisted in the United States Navy in 1950 where he served aboard the USS Pocono as a Radio Operator before his discharge in 1953. He received the National Defense Service Medal for his service during the Korean War. Clyde worked as a supervisor at several companies including General Electric, Sperry and Honeywell where he retired in 1991. His work after his retirement included managing the Campground in Monument Valley with his wife Lillian before settling back in the valley. Clyde leaves behind his wife of 20 years, Lillian Gray, daughter Kelly Braniger (Robert), sons Dave Gray (Bette), Doug Gray, Glen Gray (Helen), and Dominic Ottone (Trisha). He found great joy in recent years from his grandchildren; Katlin Evans, Michael Biggers, Toni Ottone, Cameron and Michela Gray and his great granddaughter Aislyn Evans. He is survived by two brothers, Jack and Larry Gray and two sisters, Mary Askew and Sharon Jones, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Clyde will be laid to rest with Honors at National Memorial Cemetery on July 15th, 2016 at 9:00 am.
