Funeral services will be held Wednesday June 8, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Herrington/ Land of Memory Funeral Home with brother-in-law Rev. Gene Shinn officiating.. Burial will follow at Land of Memory Cemetery on hwy 287.
He was born to Otis Lee Miles and Audrey Bruce Miles.
He served his country as a sharp shooter in the US Army. After his honorable discharge, he started his long career of working in the oilfield serving as yard manager for several companies, retiring from Key Energy Services.
Bruce loved to travel, R-Ving, hunting, fishing and the outdoors.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Kenneth Mark Miles; sister, Betty Miles Love; and stepdaughter, Gayle DeFore.
He is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Bonita Miles; son , Michael Renny Miles (Sherry) of Palestine; stepsons, Guy Wilkes (Kim), and Don Wilkes; stepdaughter, Ann Mosley (Donald); and numerous extended family.
