Marsha was preceded in death by her father, David Beecher Boyer and her mother, Edna Maxine Burton Boyer. She is survived by her loving husband, Michael Parrish, and her brother Larry Boyer (Kathy); her devoted children, daughter, Shelly Schlotfelt (Scott) of Tulsa, OK, son, Ryan Parrish (Nikki) of Fayetteville, AR, and son David Parrish (Rebekah) of Broken Arrow, OK; grandchildren Riley and Carson Schlotfelt, Natalie, Brandon, Amelia, and Molly Parrish and Ava and Sutton Parrish and one more grandbaby on the way.
Marsha grew up in Tulsa where she graduated from Central High School in 1967. That same year she was married to Mike. She worked briefly for Hopkins Photography, Morse Dental Lab, Central Rural Electric and Martin Marietta Cement Company as a sales secretary. For most of her life, she faithfully supported Mike and ultimately David’s work as Vice President of Parrish Company Realtors.
Marsha was a faithful follower of Jesus and devoted much of her life to women’s ministry at Tulsa Bible Church and Bible Church of Owasso. She enjoyed reading, cooking, antique shopping and spending time with her grandchildren around the pool in her backyard. Marsha was a strong woman who loved God as a faithful, obedient servant of Christ. She shared her love and devotion to her family every chance she got and sacrificially served all who knew and loved her. She will be deeply missed. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to the women’s bible study of Bible Church of Owasso.
