Rodney was born March 26, 1965 in Evansville and was baptized at Independence Baptist Church. He was a 1983 graduate of Harrison High School. Rodney had worked as a commercial truck driver for Tombstone Corporation. Rodney was a man with lots of love and spirit who would help anyone and everyone, in a kind and non-judgmental manner. He will be deeply missed by his family and many friends.
He is survived by daughters, Micole Brookins, Brooke Fisher, Chasity Brogden, Arianna Lewis; sons, Kalmel and Jayden Lewis; father, William Lewis, Sr.; sister, Valerie Smith (Al); brother, William Lewis, Jr. and grandchildren, Darriel and Darius Sutton, Anahla Brookins.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Carolyn (Bragg) Stewart.
Funeral Services will be held at 1 pm, Tuesday, June 7, 2016 at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel-A Family Tradition Funeral Home, 5330 Washington Avenue, Evansville. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.
