Kathleen Mary Carr, 41, of Greentown, died on Thursday at Regional Hospital of Scranton. She was the wife of Eric Carr, and the couple were married for 20 years.

Born in Queens, N.Y. she was the daughter of Mary (Daly) and the late George Cox. She graduated from Wallenpaupack Area High School, where she met her high school sweetheart, Eric. Kathleen was a member of St. Thomas More Church in Lake Ariel. She was very family oriented and her children were the center of her life.

In addition to her husband and mother, surviving Kathleen are her daughters, Katlyn Marie, Laura Ann and Mackenzie Lee, all of Greentown; her siblings, Michael, George, Regina, Eileen and Christopher; her furry friend, Daisy; and many nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by her brother, Brian.

Viewing will be held on Monday from 5 to 8 p.m. at Brian Arthur Strauch Funeral Homes and Cremation Services LLC, 3 First St., Spring Brook Twp. Mass of Christian Burial and interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Carr Family Benefit Fund, c/o any Dime Bank Branch.
