Nola Spackman Holliday was reunited with her eternal companion on December 20, 2003. She was born to Rulon Verbert Spackman and Edith Lenora Hurd on March 24, 1934 in Lewiston, Utah. Nola was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Everyone who met her loved her for her contagious laugh and loving personality. She was a child bride when she married her sweetheart, DeVerle J. Holliday in the Logan LDS Temple on August 25, 1950.

Mom was a member of the Mount Lewis 1st Ward. She had a deep love for the Gospel of Jesus Christ. She served in numerous callings during her lifetime. Some of which included Ward Primary President, Young Women's President, Relief Society President, several other presidencies and teaching positions. But the calling from which she received the most joy was serving as Primary Chorister.

She enjoyed all types of crafts and was very talented in decorating her home. She was an excellent cook. She shared her cooking talent at many ward dinners over the years. She worked as a cake decorator at Wangsgard's Bakery for 25 years. Many people have enjoyed her beautiful birthday and wedding cakes.

Mother was an excellent example to everyone, especially her family. The joy of her life was her family. She was the happiest when she was surrounded by her children and grandchildren. Family gatherings were always filled with laughter, good food and love.

Nola was a wonderful mother and friend. Her best friends were her husband, children and grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and one sister. She is survived by her five children; Dennis (Colleen) Holliday, Harrisville, UT, Scott (Jan) Holliday, Dayton, ID, Janna (Rod) Evans, Ogden, UT, Mark (Carol) Holliday, Layton, UT, Janene Smith, Ogden, UT; 28 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
