EVELYN FICTUM
Evelyn C. "Evie" Fictum, age 75, of 207 Church St., Mishicot, entered into
eternal rest on Thursday, June 9, 2005 at the Aurora Medical Center in Two
Rivers.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, June 14, 2005 at the
Lambert-Eckert Funeral Home, 344 S. State St., in Mishicot, with the Rev. Paul
Paider officiating, with burial of her cremated remains to follow in the Holy
Cross Parish Cemetery.
Evie was born Feb. 19, 1930 in Manitowoc, to the late Joseph and Erna Pavlot
Roidt and has been a lifelong area resident. She was a graduate of the Lincoln
High School graduating with the class of 1948. Evie married Francis Fictum,
Nov. 22, 1951 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Manitowoc. She was employed
for 27 years as a secretary for the Mishicot Public School System and retired
in 1992. She enjoyed many bus trips and visiting the casinos and also enjoyed
gardening.
She is survived by her husband: Fran; one daughter and son-in-law: Susan and
Jerry Kukoski of Manitowoc; two sons and daughters-in-law: Steve and Karen Fictum
of Manitowoc; Scott and Julie Fictum of Mishicot; two grandchildren: Derek and
Samantha; one stepgranddaughter: Kim (Dick) Behnke; two stepgreat-grandchildren:
Travis and Dylan. She is further survived by her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-
law: Pauline and Andy Rosik of Whitelaw; Guido and Mary Ann Barbarossa of
Manitowoc; nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded
in death by one sister and two brothers.
Relatives and friends may call after 10 a.m. on Tuesday at the Lambert-Eckert
Funeral Home, until the time of service at 11 a.m. A memorial fund has been
established in her name.
