Cody grew up in the Santa Ynez Valley until the age of 12, and then lived the rest of his life in Santa Barbara. He graduated from both St Raphael's Elementary School and Bishop Diego High School. He was recently attending Santa Barbara City College.
Cody was a server as well as a manager at Jane Restaurant in Santa Barbara. He was beloved by his co-workers, the owners, as well as all of his customers. His positive energy, his beautiful smile, and the way he made everybody feel at ease made him everyone's favorite server.
Cody had such a radiant presence and always seemed older than his years. He was a wise soul that touched the hearts of all those he met.
Cody loved his family so much, he was so proud of us all. He absolutely loved being an uncle and he loved all of his friends as if they were family. He really took the time to tell people they were special. He lived life to the fullest, and was always eager to make people laugh and bust a move. He was so smart and such a talented artist.
One of Cody's great gifts was his desire to always tell people how much he loved them. He was warm and sensitive and we feel so blessed to have had Cody as a member of our family. We are so proud of him.
Cody, our hearts are broken and we don't know how to go on without you. But you will live on forever in our hearts and we will never forget you. We love you so much.
Cody's Prayer Vigil was held Thursday at 730 pm, (7th) and his Funeral Mass was Friday morning at 10 am, both at St Raphael's Church.
