Graveside services for Mr. Roy C. Daniel, 87, of the Willow Grove Community, were conducted at 11 a.m. Monday, Aug. 11, 2003, from the St. John's Cemetery with Bro. Ronnie Parsons officiating.
Mr. Daniel died Saturday, Aug. 9 at Overton County Nursing Home.
Born August 20, 1916, he was the son of the late Jufus and Ruthie Daniel. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Sarah Daniel; a brother, Earnest Daniel; and a sister, Veachel Daniel.
Survivors include three sons, John Daniels of Allons, Tony Daniels of Celina, and William "Bill" Daniels of Livingston; a daughter, Virginia Bilbrey of Allons; a brother, J.P. Daniel of Missouri; eight grandchildren, Kimberly Hummel, Hollis Thrasher, Becky Daniels, Crystal Green, Dalton Daniels, Karah Daniels, Farrah Wood, and Tara Wood; and a great grandchild, Niki Hummel.
