Mrs. Elizabeth “Betty” Fink of Port Jervis, NY a lifetime resident of the area, died Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at St. Joseph's Place. She was 91.
She was born April 13, 1925 in Port Jervis, NY the daughter of the late Horace and the late Hazel Schoonmaker Gibbs.
She was a member of the Drew United Methodist Church in Port Jervis where she was the organist for 20 years. She also was on the Orange County Election Board for 35 years.
She was married to her loving husband Paul R. Fink of 53 years until his passing in 2001.
A family statement read: “Betty was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was devoted to her family, friends and her church. She will be deeply missed.”

2 Sons: Richard A. Fink of Port Jervis, NY
Roger A. Fink and his wife Melinda of Port Orange, FL
1 Daughter: Paula Apgar of Cookville, TN
11 Grandchildren
10 Great Grandchildren
1 nephew Jerry Gibbs
She was predeceased by her son-in-law Lenny Apgar; Brother Harold Gibbs and her sister Virginia Gibbs.
Friends may call at the Gray-Parker Funeral Home, Inc., 100 E. Main St., Port Jervis, NY 12771 on Monday, June 6, 2016 from 2 – 4 & 7-9pm.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 7, 2016 at 11am at Drew United Methodist Church, 49-51 Sussex St., Port Jervis, NY with Rev. Robert D. Cassidy officiating.
Burial will be at Pine Grove Cemetery, Matamoras, PA.
