Glen was born on January 17, 1952, in Greenville, PA, to Morris and Darlene (Barrens) Little. He attended grade school in Pennsylvania and then moved to Anthon, IA and graduated high school From Anthon - Oto. Glen served his country with honor in the United States Army. He earned the rank of Private First Class, and was honorably discharged in 1973.
On january 16, 1971, Glen was united in marriage to Janice (Ashley) Little. This union was blessed with four children: Christine, Monica, Tammy and Adam. The family made their home in Anthon, IA, Schleswig,IA, and Sac City, IA, where Glen owned his own power washing business. He later started working at Wal-Mart and then retired at Wal-Mart in November 2015. In his free time, he would play Santa Claus during the holidays and would visit Wal-Mart, New Hope, and nursing homes.
Glen enjoyed fishing, listening to music, playing video games, watching old westerns, playing bingo all day long at the Spencer Fair and helping family members. He loved spending time with family and friends, and being outside. Glen was really proud of all of his kids and grandkids and would never pass up the chance to spend time with them. He was a great husband, father, grandfather and friend, who will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Survivors include his wife Janice Little of Sac City, IA; children: Christine Rogers (Tommy Kokenge) of Carroll, IA, Monica (Jerry) Smith of Carroll, IA, Tammy Little of Ida Grove, IA, Adam Little of Carroll, IA; grandchildren: Robert Rogers, Nicholas McDaniel, Tyler Rogers, Andrew McDaniel, Brooke Little, Steven Rogers, Alexander Little; brothers: Morris Little Jr. and Leslie Little; sister Cheryl Murphrey; many nieces, nephews and extended family members.
