OBITUARY
Pearl H. Davis, 95, of Wilmington, DE, died Monday, May 23, 2016, at Gilpin Hall Nursing Home, Wilmington.

Born August 1, 1920, in Mtn. Lake Park, MD, she was the daughter of the late Isaac and Georgia Hardesty.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Guy Hardesty and her sister, Audrey Edwards.

Mrs. Davis was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church, Grantsville, MD. She along with her husband operated Davis Hardware and subsequently Davis Paint and Glass, in Grantsville for many years and later worked as Resident Managers for Storage USA, in Richmond, VA and Annapolis, MD. In retirement they lived in Kissimmee, FL and Medford, OR and in 2008 moved to Wilmington.

She is survived by her husband, N. Robert “Bob” Davis, Jr.; two daughters, Patricia Schroyer, Grantsville; Theresa Smith and husband, Dan, Hockessin, DE; one son, James McKenzie, Mason, OH; one step-daughter, Bobbi Jane McCrobie, Benson, AZ; one step-son, N. Daniel Davis, Indian Rocks Beach, FL and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Friday, June 10, 2016, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Ann Catholic Church with the Rev. Ed Hendricks officiating.
Interment will be in the Grantsville Cemetery. Friends may call at the church one hour prior to the services.

In lieu of flowers, donations should be made to Gilpin Hall, 1101 Gilpin Ave., Wilmington, DE 19806.
