Funeral services for Clifton Wright Jr., 74, of Kosciusko, will be held Saturday, June 4, at noon at Winters Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Durant Community Cemetery.

Wright, a retired Certified Nurse Assistant, died May 31, 2016 at Lexington Manor Nursing Center.

Mr. Clifton Wright, Jr. was born to the late Mrs. Bessie Mae Jones and Mr. Clifton Wright on October 19, 1941. Mr. Wright accepted Christ at an early age at Durant Baptist Church. He attended Durant Attendance Center and later furthered his education at Rust College in Holly Springs, MS. He was employed with Mississippi Railroad Company, Durant Nursing Home and Mid-Delta.

Mr. Wright was also a member of the United States Army. He departed this life on May 31, 2016 at Lexington Manor in Lexington, MS.
Mr. Wright leaves his cherish memories to: one wife, Lillie Wright of Durant, MS; two daughters: Syreeta Wright and Victoria Wright both of Durant, MS; two sons: Bernard Wright, Durant, MS and Keith Bradley (Jennifer) Frizell of New Port, VA; a very special cousin/brother, Curtis Redd. Mr. Wright was proceeded in death by his two sons: Clifton Wright III and Fredrick Wright.

Mr. Wright also leaves his cherish memories to: three aunts: Lillie Mae Howard of Goodman, MS, Dorothy Perteet and Archie Mae Higgs, both of Indiana; one uncle, John Wesley (Faye) Brooks from Indiana and a very special friend, Linda Faith Frizell; his loving grandchildren, Rocolesha & Cardell Wright, LaFrederick & Justice Wright, Porsha Grove, Alicia and Bernard Wheeler, Jhaydan Wright, Freronica Frizell, Joshua Frizell, Avery Frizell, Alaysha Frizell and Jordan Frizell; 3 great-grandchildren and a host of cousins and friends.

74yr. old Veteran, passed away Tuesday, 5/31/16 in Holmes County of natural causes.

Services--- Saturday, June 4, 2016 at 12:00 p.m. at Winters Funeral Home Chapel, Kosciusko, MS.

Interment--- Durant Community Cemetery, Durant, MS.
