JOSEPH DVORAK (d. 1943)

Joseph Dvorak, 55, lifelong resident of Mishicot, died Tuesday
evening at 10:30 at the municipal hospital in Two Rivers. He had
been in poor health since a farm mishap in October.
Funeral services will be held Friday morning at 8:30 o’clock from
the Specht Funeral Home in Mishicot and at 9 a.m. from the Holy
Cross Catholic Church in Mishicot with the Rev. Joseph Van Bogart
officiating. Interment will be in the Mishicot Cemetery.
Mr. Dvorak was town supervisor at one time and was a member of the
town board for several terms. He was also a deputy sheriff for some
years. He engaged in farming. He was born in Mishicot on Feb 5, 1888.
In 1909, he was married to Miss Josephine Karas.
Survivors are the widow; three sons, Corporal Ralph Dvorak in England
and Delmar and Donald at home; one daughter, Mrs. Clyde Rau, of this
city; four sisters, Mrs. Frank Hoffman of Arcadia, California, Mrs.
Anna Roemer of this city, Mrs. Charles Schroeder of Cornell, Wis.,
and Mrs. Mary Fencil of Chicago; and two grandchildren.
The body may be viewed at the funeral home at the time of the services
and the rosary will be recited there at 8 p.m. Thursday.

Marriage of Joe Dvorak & Josephine Karas

Friends of Mr. Joseph Dvorak and Miss Josie Karas were surprised last Thursday to hear of their wedding in Manitowoc. However, a large number of friends learned of the affair and greeted them in the usual manner that night.
