Cathy Jackson, 63, of LaFayette, Alabama died Tuesday, May 31, 2016 at the Golden Living Center in Lanett, Alabama.
Graveside services will be held Saturday June 4, 2016 at 11AM at the Rock Springs Christian Church Cemetery in Roanoke, Alabama with the Rev. Darren White and the Rev. Paul Howard officiating.
She was born in Roanoke, Alabama September 20, 1952 to the late John Wyatt Jackson, Jr., and the late Laura Vinson Jackson. She was a member of the LaFayette Heights Baptist Church.
She is survived by her son, John Phillip Herndon of Avondale Estates, GA; brothers, Tim Jackson of Wedowee, and Bo Jackson of LaFayette; grandson, John Phillip Herndon, Jr. of Avondale Estates, GA; cousin, Suzanne Chandler of LaGrange, GA.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Atlanta Speech School - Kathryn Hamm Center or to Life Choice Hospice.
