Killed in action while serving with the 458th Bombardment Group-Heavy, 752nd Bomber Squadron. Flight Officer of Crew 4 (Co-Pilot) piloted by Howard W Hetzler. Shot down by flak while on bombing mission to Osnabruckon March 23, 1944. Buried along with five other crewmen of the aircraft.
