BLACKBURN, ROBERT V. April 22, 1918 - October 26, 2006 Father, Friend, a man whom knew no stranger. Met the Lord October 26, 2006. Mr. Blackburn is preceded in death by his wife, Iva S. Blackburn, sister Grace and brother Donald. He is a graduate of Denison University and was a member of Beta Theta Pi fraternity. He retired as vice president of Round the Clock Hosiery. He was a 52 year resident of Dallas, Texas and a charter member of Sam Cochran Masonic Lodge in Dallas. He was also a member of the North Dallas Golden Kiwanis Club and a volunteer at Presbyterian Hospital. He relocated to Lago Vista, Texas in 2000 making many new friends and continuing to volunteer at Seton Northwest Hospital. This man will be missed, but never forgotten. A friend to all. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 P.M., Wednesday, November 1, 2006 at Beck Funeral Home in Cedar Park, Texas. Graveside services will be conducted at a later date in Washington Park North in Indianapolis, Indiana. The family requests in lieu of flowers memorial contributions be made to Hospice of Austin. Arrangements under the , direction of: Beck Funeral Home 1700 E. Whitestone, Cedar Park, Tx.
