Mrs. Kathryn Ann Lowery Sanders, age 54, of Vidalia, died Thursday, June 2, 2016 in the Community Hospice House in Vidalia, after an extended illness. She was a lifelong resident of Toombs County, and was a 1979 graduate of Vidalia High School. She attended Brewton-Parker College, and earned a Nursing Degree from Southeastern Technical College. She was a licensed practical nurse, and worked for R.T. Stanley Health Center. She was Baptist by faith, and was preceded in death by her husband, Dan Sanders.
Mrs. Sanders is survived by two daughters, Katelyn Sanders and Kara Sanders; her parents, Wallace and Kathleen Lowery, all of Vidalia; two brothers, Don Lowery and wife Teresa of Ailey, and Rondle Wallace Lowery and wife Denise of Lyons; one nephew, Mitchell Lowery and wife Jennesa and their daughter Brinley; and two family friends, Marcia Raimondi and Lorraine Anderson.
The funeral service will be held Saturday, June 4th at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home with Reverend Randy McDuffie officiating. Burial will follow in Lakeview Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday evening from 6:00 until 8:00.
