Born November 14, 1923, in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of the late Chester Goscinski and Lillian Seato Goscinski. She was the wife of the late William D. Wallace.
In her early life she was employed by American Can and during WWII was employed reconditioning communications trailers. Later in life she was employed by Springfield State Hospital and later Baltimore County General Hospital. She also worked for George's Supermarket and the Carroll County Board of Education from where she retired.
She is survived by her daughter, Carolyn Malstrom, son, David Wallace and daughter-in-law, Barbara Wallace, daughter, Diana Wallace-Vaughn and son-in-law, Wayne Vaughn II, sisters, Joan Schaefer and Louise Kotula, 8 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her daughter, Barbara Stewart, grandson, Stephen Hopson and great grandson, Logan Pickett.
The family received friends on Thursday, June 2, 2016 and Friday, June 3, 2016 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm at Haight Funeral Home & Chapel, 6416 Sykesville Road, Sykesville.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held on Saturday, June 4, 2016 at 10:00 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Community, 915 Liberty Road, Eldersburg, MD.
Interment was made in Springfield Cemetery, Sykesville, MD.
