BAKER, Richard William - 43, Centreville, Digby Co., died October 8, 2005, at home. Born in Berwick, he was a son of Marion (Acker) Baker, Gulliver's Cove, and the late Franklin Baker. He was employed with L.J. Robicheau and Sons fish plant, Lake Midway. He enjoyed doing mechanical work on vehicles at his home. He will be missed by his dog "Little Zeek". Besides his mother, he is survived by his common-law wife, Lillian Walker; daughters, Ashley and Crystal, both at home; sisters, Linda (Terry) Small, Tiddville, Digby Co.; Kathy (Richard) Titus, Smith's Cove, Digby Co.; Valerie McCullough, Roxville, Digby Co.; brothers, Wayne, Stephen and Kevin, all of Gulliver's Cove; Tony, Lequille, Annapolis Co. He was predeceased by an infant brother, Frankie, and uncle, Bill. Visitation will be 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today and funeral service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, both in Jayne's Funeral Home, 7 Birch St., Digby, Rev. John Purdy will officiate with burial in Rossway Community Cemetery. Donations in memory can be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia.
