Joan Switzer Williamson Wade passed away on Saturday May 28, 2016. She was born in Nicholasville, Kentucky. on October 4, 1935 to Virgil and Lucille Switzer. She graduated from Good Samaritan Nursing School, was in the United States Air Force and spent most of her 38 years as a registered nurse in Lexington.
Joan is survived by 3 children, 5 grandchildren, 1 great grandson and another one on the way. Also surviving are her 6 siblings and a special friend of over 60 years, Don Middleton. Burial will be in Camp Nelson National Cemetery, Jessamine County, Kentucky.
