Charles B. Fausset was born in Ohio sixty-eight years ago and passed from this life at the home of his son, Len, in Summit Township, Tuesday, March 15th, after an illness of nine days with pneumonia.
The deceased spent the greater part of his life in Indiana. Years ago he resided in this county but later returned to Indiana where he continued to reside until the 19th of last January, when he came to this county again to make his home with his children who reside here. He was a man of robust constitution and seldom ill, and a half hour before his death, he raised himself in bed and took his medicine and drank some lemonade, telling his son Len that he felt much better. All that good care and medical skill could do was done for him.
The funeral services were held from the Methodist church, Craig, Wednesday, March 16th, conducted by the pastor of that church, and loving hands laid father and friend to rest in the cemetery at that place.
Besides several children of his own, he leaves one sister and three brothers to mourn his death.
Mr. Fausset was a man admired by all who knew him, for his manly qualities and kind heart. The sympathy of the neighbors and acquaintances of the family is with them in this, their hour of bereavement.
