Robert Earl Abbott was born on March 29, 1968 to the late Dorothy Mae Abbott and Billy Earl Abbott.
He professed a hope in Christ at an early age at Rock of Ages CME Methodist Church in Tiptonville TN.
He departed this earth on May 17, 2016 and was proceeded in death by his mother, Dorothy Mae Abbott; a sister, Ruthie Lee Abbott; and a brother, James Earl Abbott.
He leaves behind to cherish his loving special fiancé, Shermeka Abbott; three daughters; two sons; his father, Billy Earl Abbott; six sisters, Debbie (Johnny) Abbott, Dorothy Abbott, Regina (Ernest) Abbott, Catherine Abbott, Kenyata (James) Abbott and Kimberly Abbott; three brothers, Michael (Rachel) Abbott, Daniel (Akeisha) Hart and Rodney (Carletta) Abbott; and a host of nephews, cousins and friends.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at St. John #2 Missionary Baptist Church in Tiptonville with the Rev. Perry Woods officiating. Burial will be in Citizen Cemetery in Tiptonville. H.H. Hudson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
The family will receive visitors from 12-2 p.m. Saturday at the church.
