Mr. Hudson was born in Illinois, son of James and Bessie Napier Hudson.
He was a member of Flora American Legion, Flora Eagles Lodge and a World War II veteran.
Surviving are his son, Dean of Urbana; daughter, Doris Allen of Urbana; mother of Urbana; half brothers, Junior Schoonover of Champaign; Lloyd and Bob Schoonover, both of Urbana; Jim and Everett Schoonover, both of Champaign; Carl Schoonover of California; three grandchildren.
