Andrew "Jack" Solomon Salocker was born on January 21st,1916 at Woodward, Iowa to John and Mary (Mathis) Salocker. His family moved to Perry, where Jack attended school. Jack was united in marriage to Evelyn Bennett on June 18,1939 at Jefferson, Iowa. Jack worked for Swift meat packing company in Perry until it closed. He then began working at Iowa Pork meat processing as a Superintendent. Jack enjoyed fishing, gardening and when he was younger he also enjoyed Coon hunting. He was a member of the Assembly of God church in Perry.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn in 2002, his parents John and Mary, and his brothers John, Paul, and Daniel.

Jack and Evelyn spent 63 wonderful years of marriage together and they lived deeply for and loved our Lord
and Savior Jesus Christ. They brought many unsaved people to Christ. They were the best grandparents in the world and are deeply missed and loved by many.
